After 24 years in our previous home, we recently moved and are now faced with starting over again to find businesses that we can count on to maintain our new house. When our garage door recently stopped working, we were at a loss for a referral which is what we would normally do. However, we had seen advertising for 'Your Garage Door Guys' and called on them. Joel Lucas arrived at the scheduled time and immediately went to work fixing the door. What impressed us most was the time Joel spent after completing the servicing advising us on what we would need to do going forward with an opener that was not a very reliable brand/model. It would have been very easy for him to push for extra business right then, but instead, he advised that we get what we can from the opener while it still has life in it. He also advised us on servicing that should be performed to help it along (with no pressure to decide right then). Joel was courteous, professional, and told us that the repair that day was so minor, that there was no charge for that day’s servicing. The web site for 'Your Garage Door Guys' indicates that their business built its reputation on quality, and integrity. We can confirm that they definitely met and exceeded our expectations for quality and integrity, as well as for professionalism, knowledge, and courteousness. They even made some free adjustments to the rails when... they came out for the initial quote before I decided to use their services on an opener replacement. Will definitely use in the future and recommend to friends and family. I had the belt driven liftmaster installed and it's a huge difference in the lack of noise it makes compared to my previous screw driven opener. Called them up and spoke to Joel. He gave me a quote over the phone depending on how many springs I had which was a good price. I setup an appointment. He arrived a few minutes early. I showed him the door and since I noticed that I only have one spring and most doors I've seen have two I asked him the difference (pros and cons). He explained it very clearly and I decided to have it converted to two springs. He went to work and was finished in less than an hour including lubing the door and resetting pressure limits. He even lowered the sensors to make sure that they were to code. He charged me as quoted. Fast, Friendly and Prompt service at a good price! I cannot recommend... their services enough. I love my new garage door opener!!! He was extremely helpful and taught me how it all functions. I really liked Joel’s work ethic and integrity, the crazy part is he is only 19 and a full time college student. Props to his parents. I highly recommend these guys. I called in the evening and they made an appointment to come... check out my garage for the next morning at 9am. Joel, the owners son was so kind and here on time and even a little earlier.
